All applicants for employment with the City of Wills Point must have a high school diploma or GED equivalency. Pre-employment drug screening and physical exam is required.

Human Resources administers the employee benefit program for the City of Wills Point. The department also develops policies and procedures to govern the day to day operation of municipal departments.
Salary: Salary ranges are designed to be competitive with industries and municipalities
Social security: Participating agency: one to one match
Retirement System: Texas Municipal Retirement System: Employee contributes 5% biweekly: City matches 2 to 1.
Vacation: After one (1) year -5 days, After two (2) years-10 days, After ten (10) years-10 days + one (1) additional day per service year
Sick: 5.33 hours per month
Holidays: 10 days per year
Insurance: Health, Dental and Life – Paid by City
